The Brief

Pilot Cove offers modern cabin lodgings in the wilderness of Pisgah Forest. They’re newly established, and offer a dynamic, luxury outdoor vacation perfect for active hikers, bikers, and outdoor enthusiasts. They needed promotional video to show off their gorgeous grounds, amenities, and nearby natural attractions. Amplified Media collaborated with Pilot Cove to create branded videos targeting the outdoor tourist, and showcasing Pisgah Forest at its most exciting and beautiful.

The Goal

The ultimate goal of this endeavor was to artfully showcase Pilot Cove’s well-designed cabins, the ground’s proximity to outdoor adventure, and a sense of culture and excitement essential to the Pilot Cove experience. In many ways the video is an introduction to the Pilot Cove brands, so the footage needed to be general enough to appeal to tourists, without going into the specific onsite amenities.

The Process

The opening sequences needed to be of Pilot Cove itself, to showcase the property as the starting destination for tourist adventures.

Landscape shots were seamlessly integrated, featuring a cast of hikers and vacation goers. Amplified followed the cast on trails, and to mountain vistas and waterfalls.

Once shots were established, it was time to take it back to Amplified Media HQ where editing magic commenced!

We paired the visual story with music and graphical overlays, and made sure that the length of the video was appropriate for Facebook and website viewing.

The Result

The video establishes a beautifully branded introduction to Pilot Cove, its modern aesthetic, and speaks directly to the targeted viewers: adventure seeking, nature loving tourists. It’s enjoyed great exposure onsite and throughout social media!
