The Brief

Park Ridge Health offers women’s health services for all stages of life, and their marketing team needed to communicate this extensive suite of services in a way that would differentiate them from other local healthcare providers.

The Goal

The incredibly talented marketing professionals of Park Ridge Health collaborated with Amplified Media with the intention of creating memorable, evocative messaging for use on social media and local TV that would speak to and resonate with females of all ages. The brand has worked with Amplified Media on several projects, most of which have utilized touching, human-centric video narratives that seek to inspire the “warm and fuzzies” in their viewers, which is the exact way Park Ridge Health strives to make their patients feel.

The Process

  1. Storyboard time! The Park Ridge Health team worked with Amplified Media to actualize their vision of an intimate narrative about 3 generations of women, illuminating their relationships, while simultaneously highlighting the various stages in women’s lives in a subtle way. The narrative ends with a sequence several years later, in which the young daughter from the first scene becomes an expecting mother. A shot list was produced once the narrative was crafted.

  2. The setting was carefully selected. Since the narrative is rooted in the family kitchen and the intergenerational activities that happen there, it was important to find a home kitchen that was timeless, comforting, light-filled, and open. After reviewing several homes, it was decided that an Amplified Media staff member’s home would most accurately fit this vision.

  3. In order to create the light, warm, cozy ambience the client envisioned, Amplified Media enlisted a lighting specialist.

  4. Once the storyboard, cast, setting, and special lighting requirements were aligned, it was time to schedule the production day. The on-set production crew was quite large, comprising of the Park Ridge Health marketing professionals and the Amplified team. Having the client onset allowed for their feedback to be immediately incorporated into the filming.

  5. Once production wrapped, post-production began! began the post-production. The Park Ridge Health team worked closely with Amplified media during this part of the process.

The Result

The videos were deemed a huge success thanks to the truly collaborative nature between Park Ridge Health and the team at Amplified Media. The video ran on local TV in 60 second, 30 second, and 15 second cuts, and each version had an accompanying Spanish cut. The video was viewed over 11,000 times on Facebook, and generated the cozy, loving feelings Park Ridge Health intentionally evokes in their marketing endeavors. It’s a creative expression of their brand values, and is part of their ever-evolving strategy to build trust and loyalty in their patients and potential patients.
