JARED KAY
As the only team member without a desk, Amplified’s founder can often be found on location or in the studio. When he isn’t behind a camera, Jared spends early mornings exploring the mountains at sunrise, and enjoying the countryside by bike, behind the lens, or on foot with his wife Sonia and his son River.
He has been capturing amazing adventure and outdoor photography in our region for many years, and partners on campaigns for Explore Asheville, Visit North Carolina, and National Geographic. Jared is rooted locally but is visible globally. He can often be found with a cup of coffee and a good book.
TECHNICAL DIRECTOR
SKYLORE JARVIS
Skylore was first inspired by Ansel Adam's while learning about film photography always looking for a landscape that told a story. After taking and developing his first photograph he instantly knew that he wanted to find a career that field.
A few years later he attended Western Carolina and studied 3D design + photography. During this time he created stop motion films sparking his interest in video.
He began to take his camera everywhere, filming and photographing cars, skateboarding, snowboarding, hiking, and constantly chasing the light looking for amazing landscapes.

EMILY FRECK
While at university, Emily studied Mass Communication — Photography. This lead to her discovering a fire, not just for photography, but for creating - in all areas of the communications field.
One unexpected passion was for editing video projects. Emily finds the challenge of forming a narrative and making a story come alive to be a truly rewarding experience. She always enjoys the journey that each project takes her through.
While Emily uses her creativity as a video editor for Amplified Media, she also does photography as a side hustle to her full-time job as mom of two spunky little boys.
